So I was reading this article the other day that listed out some good ideas for passive income for web designers / programmers. The first that I’m going to go with probably is creating/selling web templates.
I’m thinking about starting out with around 15 or so and then setting up a ecommerce site that will handle their sale. It might take me about 3 months or so to get the 15 done, maybe less, and then some more time to get the site up.
I was looking at templatemonster.com and I’ll probably look at other template sites to get ideas from.
The template monster templates go for around $60 on average so maybe I can price mine somewhere around that. It’d be great if I could sell 15 or so templates a month I think.
Well that’s idea #1.
