a minimalist of sorts
So in the coming months I plan to become a minimalist of sorts to prepare for my move to Brasil. By minimalist I mean I’m going to step into the shoes of a halfway sensible human and keep a budget of sorts. I think I’ll be happy if I have around $8K or so saved when I head down.
So that means minimal eating out and tracking every cent that I spend. Being halfway sensible with money is something new to me and I’m sure it’ll be a skill that I’ll need when I get down there.
We just saw a group of people and they were speaking Portuguese and I could only understand a few words so I’m going to have to get on it seriously this week.
I downloaded a bunch of podcasts for Portuguese learning so I’ll use them, my book and Rosetta Stone.
But yeah I’ll be sticking to this budget thing hard so I can have a place to stay while I’m down there selling beads :p
